Current funding
We have funding from the NHS at the moment, to develop a project into local schools that supports parents whose children are anxious. The pilot of this project showed positive outcomes in terms of reduced anxiety levels in the children and increased attendance at school. This year we have been funded to develop some of the material so it can be accessed remotely by a greater number of parents, with a face to face workshop for each of five local primary schools for a selection of parents.
Although we do not have any grant funding at the current time, we continue to support the low cost (and sometimes free) counselling initiative through the use of surplus profit from our trading income and by continuing to offer trainee counsellors placements and the ability to work out of our therapy rooms in Chorlton.
We are regularly making applications for additional funding to develop the range of interventions we are able to offer at lower fees and at no cost to families directly.
If you are a funder and are reading this, please feel free to get in touch to discuss any funding you might have that is only open to invited organisations.
